SURFACE PREPARATION: Concrete & Porous Surfaces: High pressure water clean to remove surface contaminants. Chemical etch may be required. Metal Structures: High pressure water clean (3000 psi) to remove loose paint, light rust or surface contaminants. Heavy rusted areas should be wire brushed or abrasive blasted. ELASTOSEAL METAL PRIMER should be applied to rusted areas. Rubber: High pressure water clean and degrease to remove surface contaminants. ELASTOSEAL RUBBER PRIMER should be applied.
APPLICATION: Open seams, joints, and cracks should be sealed with ELASTOSEAL JOINT MATERIAL or urethane caulking. ELASTOSEAL can be applied by brush, roller, or airless spray (30:1, ¼" to 3/8" hose, .019 to .023 tip). Apply first coat at 100 square feet per gallon. After 16 hours, apply second coat, same as the first coat.
CLEAN-UP: All mixing and application equipment should be immediately cleaned with water.
LIMITATIONS: ELASTOSEAL should not be applied below 40°F or when there is the threat of rain.
